IVFDF Cambridge 2017 The Inter-Varsity Folk Dance Festival is coming to Cambridge in 2017! It will take place at Cambridge Junction and Hills Road Sixth Form College 24-26 February.

The Inter Varsity Folk Dance Festival has been running since 1951 and is the country's longest continually running folk festival, hosted by a different university each year. Fondly known as IVFDF (“iv-diff”), it returns to Cambridge for the first time in eleven years. It will be an exciting and dynamic weekend, with evening dances of ceilidhs, contras (an American ceilidh-style dance form), Scotti

sh dance, French dance, Playford (Jane Austen-style), electronic dance music ceilidh, and many workshops (not just folk!) during the day to try the dance style you’ve always wanted to do, or something more unusual and obscure. Tickets on sale at www.ivfdf2017.org.uk
