We often put productions on in Trinity itself, but also fund projects outside of college if they have Trinity involvement. Applications for funding are open all year round! Our lovely committee will aim to get back to you within 2 weeks during term time or 2 weeks after the start of the next term if you apply during the holidays. Shows that we fund require some element of Trinity involvement. Plea

⭐️⭐️DRYDEN COMMITTEE POSITIONS NOW OPEN!! ⭐️⭐️

The Dryden Society is the resident performing arts society at Trinity as well as one of the oldest and most prestigious performing arts societies at the University of Cambridge. We provide financial support for shows around Cambridge and put on productions in Trinity itself, although due to the current situation we are very open to diversifying and supporting new creative channels!

The positions open for application are as follows:

Vice-President: Responsible for helping the president with vision and leading the committee, as well as organising show funding.

Secretary: In charge of minuting committee meetings and running our social media accounts and society email.

Treasurer: Organises accounts and losses with the Senior Treasurer. The Treasurer also manages show reimbursements, contracts and budgets for shows applying for funding.

All Trinity members are encouraged to apply, including incoming freshers. No experience necessary at all, just enthusiasm!

To apply, send an email to [email protected] detailing the role(s) you’re interested in and why, along with a short account of any relevant experience (again, none necessary!)

The deadline for applications is Friday 18th September 11:59 pm.

We are looking for exciting new shows to fund next term and at the Edinburgh Fringe this August!

Applications for an Easter term show must include:

1. A brief synopsis of the play
2. Your ideas for staging the play
3. A budget outline with revenue estimates
4. Details of your cast and crew (especially including Trinity involvement)

Following on from the success of 'Bacchae' and 'The Djinns of Eidgah' at the Fringe in 2019, we are excited to be offering funding for 2020. In addition to the information above, please include in Fringe applications:

5. Why you are taking this play to the Fringe
6. Why the play would be a success at the Fringe
7. Venue details
8. Your marketing strategy

Please note that all shows funded by The Trinity Dryden Society must involve at least one Trinity member. Applications will be decided by the start of Easter Term.

**Dryden Committee reopening of applications**

The Trinity Dryden Society are reopening applications for the position of Treasurer for the 2019/20 academic year.

The Treasurer is responsible for the accounts of the society, as well as liaising with the Senior Treasurer and dealing with show reimbursements and budgets.

As always, only Trinity members will be considered.

If you would like to apply, please send an email to [email protected] telling us in max. 300 words why you think you’d fit the role, any relevant experience you have, and what draws you to the position. The deadline for applications is Wednesday the 26th June.

Amelia, Brandon and I (Tim) are super excited to get to work this year and help exciting projects as they get off the ground.

**DRYDEN COMMITTEE POSITIONS APPLICATION**

The Trinity Dryden Society is now opening applications for committee positions beginning with a handover in the first two weeks of Easter Term 2019. The positions open for application are as follows:

President - The head of the Society who is in charge of vision and the committee. The President also leads and organises show funding, Dryden’s primary function.
Secretary - In charge of minuting the committee meetings and contacting those we work with via the Society Email. The Secretary also runs our social media outlets.
Treasurer - Responsible for the accounts and liaising with the Senior Treasurer. The Treasurer also manages show reimbursements, contracts, and budgets for shows applying for funding.
Outreach Officer - A new(!!!) role, looking at ways to expand the activities of the Society. The officer will aim to reach out to Trinity Members and encourage them to put on shows with Dryden support.

As the Society is based in Trinity College, only Trinity Members are able to apply.

If you would like to apply, please send an email to [email protected] with a 300 word (Max.) description of experience and/or enthusiasm that would make you suitable for the role. The deadline for applications is the 23rd April.

Don't miss your chance to catch this incredible production at the ADC - only two more showings, at 11pm tonight and tomorrow.

A not to be missed performance that uses comedic juxtapositions to highlight the tragedy of war. 4.5 stars
