Hi everyone! Please see below a message from Dan for Football!✨⚽️✨

'My name is Dan and I am the captain of the Kent Amateur Football League team Old Boys FC. We are a team that is looking to be competitive within the league whilst still having a laugh. We are holding our last set of trials on the 5th of October between 4pm and 5:30pm on the 3G Pitch at the Pavilion. We are looking for players in every position and players of all abilities are welcome. The team is open to all students no matter their year of study. This season we will be training each week and meeting up in bars around Canterbury to socialise and watch the football. If you know anyone else who may be interested in joining, bring them along to the trials on Saturday!

If you have any questions please email me on the address [email protected].'

This month is . The theme this year is "Black Excellence"! In the words of BAME Network Chair Stephen Kamara this is a chance to "come together and celebrate our accomplishments within society as a community, despite day to day social pressures we face as a race and a community we also prevail to work harder".

We've got so many events happening this month. Here are some of the events happening this week- there's so much more going on!

We will also be supporting Kent Caribbean Union in raising money for those affected by Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas https://headknowlesbahamas.com/
