One month ago, the final day of the games commenced!

Emma Finucane MBE dominated the headlines on the final day, as she won her fourth Gold medal of the games in the Women’s Keirin, making her the first Welsh athlete to win four Gold medals at a Commonwealth Games! 🥇Llongyfarchiadau i Emma! 💪🏻🤩

Steff Lloyd also bought success to the track, as he set a new Welsh Record and PB in the Men’s Time Trial on the final day of competition!

Judo concluded their programme on this day, wrapping up an incredibly successful 11 days of competition for Tîm Cymru.

The day ended with a monumental Closing Ceremony, which saw the passing of the Games over to India for 2030.

One month ago, we reached the penultimate day of competition in Glasgow 🌟

Track Cycling had another successful day on the boards, with Emma Finucane MBE winning yet another Gold, this time in the Time Trial, setting another Games Record as she bought her medal tally to 3 Golds! 🥇

Anna clinched a second Gold, and Jessica Roberts won Silver in the 25km Points Race whilst James Ball and Matt Rotherham / Track Cyclist secured another Silver in the Tandem B Sprint 🥇🥈🥈

Mwy o lwyddiant yn y Boscio! Two more medals in the Boxing ring, as connorwilliamsbxn and Orlando Holley-Sotomi both clinched a Silver medal in their game debuts 🥈🥈

Athletics and Bowls also wrapped up their games programmes a month ago, along with the penultimate day of Judo 💪🏻

One month ago, we saw another successful day at the Velodrome, as Tîm Cymru clinched a further 3 medals; Anna and Emma Finucane MBE won a Gold medal each, and .Edmunds secured a Bronze medal! 🥇🥇🥉

We also saw Team Captain Livvy Breen secure a Gold medal in the T38 Long Jump, jumping a Games Record distance and adding another medal to her tally for the Games! 🥇

There was also success in the Boxing ring, as Owain Harris Allan and Rosie Eccles both secured a Bronze medal! 🥉🥉

On the 30th of July, Track Cycling began at the Glasgow 2026 games!

Kicking off an incredibly successful first day, the Women’s Team Sprint (Emma Finucane MBE Lowri Thomas Rhian ) clinched Gold after cycling a Games Record time TWICE, the Tandem B Time Trial (James Ball ball Matt Rotherham / Track Cyclist ) secured Silver, and the Team Pursuit (Anna Jessica Roberts Meg Barker Ciara Oliva Pilates) won a Bronze medal 🥇🥈🥉

Ava Lloyd ran a PB in the Women’s Mile on the penultimate day of Athletics and we saw:
🏐 Netball play their final pool match,
⚫️ More Bowls action
🏋🏻 And the final session of Weightlifting

On the 29th of July, Tîm Cymru’s medal streak continued!

Para-Athletes shone in the Athletics on this day, with winning Gold, winning Silver and .Cronin winning Bronze, all in the F42-44/F62-64 Discus throw 🥇🥈🥉

We also saw further success in the pool, with winning his fourth medal of the games, capping the Swimming campaign off with another Silver medal 🥈
24 won Bronze in the 77kg Weightlifting, lifting a PB in the Clean and Jerk, and an overall PB of 224kg 🥉

Llongyfarchiadau i ! Cari ran a Welsh Record and PB in the 3000m Steeplechase during her games debut 🌟🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Bowls, Netball and Boxing all carried on with their programmes on this day, marking another busy and successful day of competing for our athletes 💪🏻🌟

One month ago, we reached the halfway point of the Commonwealth Games 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Day 5 bought us a lot of excitement and success, with Ruby Evans bringing home the first Gold medal of the games for her incredible floor routine, capping off the Artistic Gymnastics campaign 🥇

Matt Richards MBE won his third medal of the games, winning silver in the 100m Freestyle Race 🥈

We also saw a third consecutive medal won by our IV Mixed Para Bowls Team (Julie Thomas, Steffan James, John Wilson, Jamie Jones), as they won Bronze in a nail biter match against New Zealand 🥉

Lotty Whalley achieved a new PB in the Clean and Jerk, while Ela Letton-Jones found more success in the pool, Swimming both a Welsh Record and a PB in the Women’s S13 50m Freestyle 💪🏻 Da iawn i’r ddwy ohonyn nhw!

The action didn’t stop there, as we saw:

🏋️ Weightlifting,

One month ago, the Athletics programme began at the Glasgow 2026, with Team Captain Livvy Breen winning a silver medal on the first day of competition 🥈

Artistic Gymnastics also had a successful penultimate day of competition, with both Abigail and Emily Roper Twins (Abigail & Emily Roper) winning a Bronze medal, Abigail on the vault and Emily earning a PB on uneven bars alongside her medal 🥉

We also saw more:

🏋🏻 Weightlifting,
🏊🏼Swimming,

One month ago, the second AND third medals of the games were won in the pool 💪🏻

Rhys darbey PLY - who swam a Welsh Record time in the S14 200m Freestyle - and the Mixed Relay Team (Bec Sutton, thea🌟, Dan Jones, Matt Richards MBE) - who also set a Welsh Record - all took home a bronze medal 🥉

Day 2 also bought:
🏀 The historic debut of our Men and Women 3x3 Wheelchair Basketball Teams,
🏐 the first of the Netball matches,
🤸‍♀️ a second day of Artistic Gymnastics,
🥊 the first Boxing bout,
⚫️ and a few more games of Bowls!

One month ago, Tîm Cymru won their first medal of the competition, through Ela Letton-Jones Personal Best swim, which kicked off the Swim Wales campaign for the Glasgow 2026 games 🥈

We also saw the Women’s 4x100m Freestyle Relay Team (Bec Sutton, Meghan Higgs, Sophie Davies, thea🌟) set a new Welsh Record in the pool! 🌟

We also saw the start of the IV Mixed Para Bowls and the Artistic Gymnasts in action for the first time 💪🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
