📢 Following the success of , we wanted to remind you about - our two-day conference in London, later this year.

📅 It will be held from Monday 30 November to Tuesday 1 December at the QEII Centre in the heart of Westminster.

🏫 After more than 25 years, the UK ENIC conference remains one of the biggest education and skills events in the UK.

🏫 UK ENIC colleagues were among delegations attending the UNESCO open-ended working group on the relationship between the Global and Regional Conventions, last month.

🌍 Representatives from Australia, Estonia, France, the Holy See, Morocco, Senegal and South Africa also attended the session on 22 April, alongside the UNESCO secretariat.

📑 Chaired by UK ENIC’s Head of Policy and Engagement Chris Lyons, the purpose of the group is to develop a subsidiary text to encourage countries to become signatories of the Global Convention.

🌍 Delegates from across the international education sector attended in Glasgow last month (28 April).

🏫 Our one-day conference at the Sir Jim McDonald Technology and Innovation Centre, University of Strathclyde, explored the theme: 'Navigating change: shared challenges, collective solutions'.

🗣️ The event featured a packed programme including a plenary session, panels, presentations, interactive labs and networking opportunities, featuring a high calibre of experts who discussed a broad range of topics.

🗓️ It's been a busy morning for delegates.

👉 Matt Ashman (Ecctis) and Tom Williamson (Skills for English) were first up in the morning plenary.

🗣️ Then, Graeme Atherton (University of West London), Dr David Donaldson (Universities Scotland) and Michelle Stewart (Duolingo English Test) joined our plenary panel and Q&A: ‘Change, Challenges, Solutions – the Oxford Debate’.

🌍 There have been some fantastic sessions covering topics including responsible internationalisation, admissions assessment security, international recruitment, UK IES, AI and student voice!

👉 And there's still plenty to come this afternoon…
