Match Report at Veo is OUT! ⚽️

Veo Technologies has launched yet another great feature to our latest Veo Analytics 2.

If you’ve ever spent a Sunday night or Monday evening glued to a laptop manually clipping 90 minutes of grassroots footage, tag by tag... then now its time to change.

Match Report is an interactive, post-match analytics page within Veo Analytics 2, that consolidates all team and player performance data in one place.

The Veo Cam follows and tracks the ball and every player, to generate player and team stats (so no more wearables are needed). This also cuts post-match review down to 15 minutes, saving coaches 5+ hours per week previously spent on manual clipping and data entry.

Every metric and data point is also interactive; clicking any number immediately plays the corresponding video clip, so the visual context arrives instant to the data!

I may be the only girl on the team, but I do get to hang out with these two once a quarter 👌

Here is a quick insight into what life is like (sometimes) working as a remote Market Manager at Veo 😂. They can joke because they’re actually very good at what they do, and do an incredible job of managing a whole country whilst working solo every day. Remote working, especially in a Country on your own, isn’t always easy. But these boys do it well, and keep it entertaining, always ☺️

Every day is different when you work as a Partnership Manager in sports technology, but how we structure our time, approach projects, and complete tasks is completely unique to who we are.

Finding a workplace that allows you to operate in a structure that best suits your personal workflow isn’t always easy. That’s something I truly love about my role at Veo. I have the creative trust and flexibility to work in the way that brings out my best.

Just because this exact routine works for me doesn’t mean it works for everyone, but that’s the beauty of it. When you use your workflow to find your identity and personality within your role, work starts to feel a little less like work!

Behind the scenes of building Veo Analytics 2 📽️✨

I recently sat down with Beatrice Barlassina, Product Manager at Veo Technologies in Copenhagen, to chat about what it actually takes to take a product from initial concept to full launch.

From scaling our engineering team from 20 to 100 people to involving almost every department across the business, Analytics 2 was nearly a year in the making!

A few key takeaways from our chat:

💡 Data vs. Customer Value: More data doesn’t automatically mean a better product. Grassroots coaches are notoriously short on time, so our biggest challenge was filtering complex data down into instant, actionable value.

🤝 Built with Coaches, for Coaches: We prioritized features by interviewing and working alongside coaches directly to ensure the platform solves real matchday problems.

📊 Making Pro Tech Accessible: One of our top priorities was bringing physical player data to the platform - giving grassroots clubs access to player tracking without the heavy price tag of GPS vests.

Arrive at your desk, with time to make a coffee! ☕️

Mornings are for catching-up with emails, organising workload and prepping for upcoming meetings that day. 💻

The Veo Content studio - I think I spent most my time in here alone, its amazing how quickly time passes when you’re creating and editing content 🎥

But I always also schdule so many meetings with different departments when I come to the office, because it’s so important to connect with people in person; virtually is never the same! 🙋🏼‍♀️

It’s also important to spend time with your employees outside the work setting; that’s why Veo Technologies hosting in-office yoga classes is such a special touch 🧘🏼‍♂️🌟
