Historically, many areas of women's health have lacked focus, but conditions like Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) need dedicated support. Why is PMDD research so important? Because it changes and saves lives. It leads to faster diagnoses, better treatments and a deeper understanding of a condition that affects so many.

Today’s landmark conference, hosted by UWS and supported by International Association For Premenstrual Disorders UK, put PMDD research front and centre. We are so thankful to everyone who attended and shared their passion for improving care.

Hearing from researchers, clinicians and those with lived experience of this debilitating condition has been truly inspiring. We recognise that there is still so much more work to do, but the discussions today leave us full of hope for the future of women's health.
