The 2026 Great Taste Awards were out today!

Only 2% of the >14,000 GTA entries gained a 3-star accolade - and our Tower Bridge Honey was THE ONLY English Honey to attain that top 3-star rating in 2026.

What is more, this Thames-side honey won a 3-star GTA rating last year, as well. Our Bermondsey Street Bees make a habit of producing winning honeys at the Great Taste Awards, the Great British Food Awards and the National Honey Show !

By the way, our 3 other GTA entries (Royal Albert Dock, East India Dock and Lambeth Palace honeys) all won 2-star ratings this year. That’s a total of 9 Great Taste stars from our 4 entries in 2026…

Here’s our Markshall apiary, set in an 200-acre arboretum and adjacent to the venerable Honywood Oak (which was here in 1215 - when the Magna Carta was signed !)
