WEEKEND MATCH RESULTS 💙💛

1S MATCH REPORT:

We showed up to Driffield this morning with 8 players, 7 pairs of socks (Libby 👀) and a dream. That dream was to walk away without a double digit scoreline and wow did we deliver!!

Such an incredible game from all the girls. We had a clear plan, stuck to it and managed to keep it to 3-0 in the first half. Forget a half court press, this was almost a quarter court press but it worked well for us.

What an effort, I am so proud of everyone for how we stuck together, communicated, and fought for the whole 70 minutes. I feel like this is great prep for varsity later this season!!

All my hockey love,
Emma xx

GOALS: Emma x1 🏑
MAN: Libby, Spoons, Emma 🩷
CABBAGE: Libby and Ruby 💚

2S MATCH REPORT:

Really well played today girls, it was a tough game without a full team, we persisted and had a much better second half where we managed to score a goal!

Our defence worked their socks off and Cat had some fantastic saves! Marina played very well for her first ever game too!!

All my hockey love,
Bethany x

GOALS: Bethany x1 🏑
MAN: Bethany 🩷
CABBAGE: Bethany 💚

LAST WEEKENDS MATCH REPORTS 💙💛

1S MATCH REPORT

Such a great improvement from last week girls, we all worked so hard and didn't stop running.

We were very unfortunate to have the sun burning our eyes in the first half but we definitely brought it back in the second half with a last minute goal from Maisie.

Everyone played so well considering most people weren't playing in their positions.

All my hockey love,
Isla

MAN 🩷: Maisie, Libby, Elena
CABBAGE 💚: Libby

2S MATCH REPORT (Saturday)

Fantastic game girls, everyone played so well and put so much effort in!
It was a tough game and very hot but we smashed it!
Shoutout to Hornsea for all the encouragement it is appreciated!

MAN 🩷: Holli
CABBAGE 💚: Cat and Bethany

All my hockey love,
Bethany X

2S MATCH REPORT (Sunday)

Very tough game today but we persevered against a very good side without a full team, injured players and players in new positions.
We had some fantastic moments in midfield and up front and stopped so many goals!

Excited for our first away game next weekend!

All my hockey love,
Bethany x

MAN 🩷: Cat
CABBAGE 💚: Keira
