This week, the Brethren of Stevenage Lodge 7748 were delighted to be presented with a certificate recognising the charitable donations we have collectively made towards the Hertfordshire 2030 Festival Relief Chest.

Thanks to our contributions so far — and our most recent pledge to make a further lump‑sum donation — we are well on our way to achieving Grand Patron status.

This is a fantastic example of what our meetings are about, and an achievement every member of the Lodge can be very proud of.

Congratulations and well done, all.

👏👏👏

We are delighted to share a new photograph of the Grand Master, HRH The Duke of Kent, and the Pro Grand Master, Jonathan Spence, taken recently at Freemasons' Hall!

Taken specially for the forthcoming book by Celia Lee - a sequel to 'HRH The Duke of Kent: A Life of Service', honouring the Duke's 90th birthday and his recent decade of public life - the portrait reflects both the dignity and continuity of Freemasonry under his leadership.

Today some of our newly made Brethren were treated to an extra special meeting at Freemasons Hall.

Lodge 10,000, or Sine Nomine to give it its proper name, held an Emergency Meeting inside the Grand Temple within UGLE. The first time ever that a private lodge has had the privilege of holding a meeting inside this extra special temple.

It really was an amazing experience for our recently made Masons to enjoy.

Well done to all those who organised such an outstanding event 👏👏👏

🇬🇧 Eighty years ago today, the guns fell silent.

Behind the scenes of history, Freemasons were already rebuilding - meeting in air-raid shelters, resisting in POW camps, and holding fast to the light of brotherhood through the darkness.

In this stirring episode, Craftcast welcomes Mark Dennis to share remarkable, true stories of courage, sacrifice, and silent service - from gold jewels melted for the war effort to handmade regalia forged from scrap in a Changi POW Camp, and so much more 🤝

Let us remember those who served. Let us honour those who endured. Let us never forget 🕯️🌹
