We're proud to share that former Cronton student Erin Gregory has settled into life at the University of Cambridge, where she is studying History after achieving outstanding A Level results this summer👏

During her time at Cronton, Erin took part in our High Achievers Programme and the Cambridge Shadowing Scheme, both of which helped strengthen her application to one of the UK's most competitive universities.

It's fantastic to see Erin thriving at Cambridge, and we're delighted that the University has shared this update.

We wish her every success in her studies and future career! ⭐️

⚖️ Real-World Law Comes to Cronton Sixth Form! Our A Level Law students had the fantastic opportunity to welcome Justices of the Peace from Warrington Magistrates’ Court as part of Magistrates in the Community.

Organised by Jo Schumacher, former police officer and legal professional, the session gave students a valuable insight into the criminal justice system through first-hand experiences from serving magistrates.

Students then put their legal knowledge into practice through the “Night Out with Sam” case study, exploring the consequences of offences including assault, drug driving and knife crime.

A brilliant opportunity to see how the law works beyond the classroom and how the topics studied in A Level Law impact real people and communities every day.

A huge thank you to our visiting magistrates and Jo for sharing their time, knowledge and expertise with our students! 👏⚖️

🩺 The Tomorrow's Medical Professionals recently explored the fascinating field of haematology.

Students analysed full blood count (FBC) results to investigate patient case studies and develop potential diagnoses, gaining an insight into how laboratory data supports clinical decision-making.

They then learned about blood typing, its vital role in transfusion medicine, and why matching blood groups is so important for patient safety. To bring their learning to life, students carried out practical blood grouping tests using their own samples and successfully determined their individual blood types.

The Tomorrow’s Medical Professionals programme is a fantastic super curricular opportunity for students looking to progress into a career in Medicine. These sessions give students the chance to explore different areas of healthcare, develop practical skills and gain valuable insight into the profession, helping them feel more confident and excited about their future careers🔬
