Artist Robi Walters presents a vibrant and deeply personal solo exhibition exploring his Jamaican and English heritage, alongside themes of meditation, sacred geometry, transformation and wellbeing.

Known for transforming discarded materials into intricate kaleidoscopic collages, Walters creates works from recycled cards, meticulously hand-cut and assembled into striking compositions:

“The process takes a long time and puts me in a meditative state. I make these works to transform discarded and unused materials, and to ask how we might repurpose things in other areas of our lives too. I’m inspired by sacred geometry, and my intention is that once a piece is placed on a wall, it brings harmony and tranquillity to the space.” - Robi Walters

Recently we hosted a Higher Education Fair at our Chelsea Campus where students had the chance to speak to representatives of different universities and institutions about their course offer.

We were very happy to see so many 16-18 students connecting! At Morley the careers team is here to support them during their courses and beyond.

MA Creative Practice Final Show ‼️

The MA Creative Practice 2026 exhibition marks a significant milestone as we celebrate the achievements of our first graduating cohort, alongside works in progress by the current part-time students. Together, the exhibition reflects the breadth of contemporary interdisciplinary practice, exploring themes of identity, memory, belonging, social justice, representation and cultural change through diverse media, methodologies and forms of engagement.

About the course:
Launched in October 2025 and validated by Ravensbourne University London, the MA Creative Practice programme builds on Morley College London’s long-standing commitment to accessible, inclusive and socially engaged arts education. Founded in 1889, Morley has a rich history of nurturing creativity, critical thinking and cultural participation across generations, and the MA extends this tradition into postgraduate study.

Last week the Morley Baroque Ensemble performed at the Banbury Early Music Festival as part of the Performers Platform 🎶

Performers Platforms are a space for amateur and student ensembles from across the UK to present their music. It is a great chance to connect with musicians from other orchestras and institutions. We're very proud to see our students there!

Thank you to everyone who took part in Morley College North Kensington's first ever Morley Market this weekend 🌞

Last weekend we hosted a sustainable community event Projects and with clothing kindly supplied by Tracy Treasures. The event gave students the opportunity to share ideas and gain insight into how creativity, enterprise and sustainability can come together.
