Students for Students 2026-27: Turn Your Ideas into Action!
Applications Open!
Do you have an employability idea that could make a positive difference for fellow students and the local community?
Students for Students is your opportunity to bring it to life!
The Student and Graduate Futures Team is looking for innovative and creative student-led employability projects that will enhance the UWL student experience, while creating a positive impact in the community.
Whether it’s a panel, skills workshop, challenge event, hackathon, or another idea, we want to hear from you!
Successful student project leaders will receive:
✅ Funding to deliver your project idea
✅ 1-2-1 coaching and planning support
✅ The opportunity to develop valuable skills in leadership, project management, and partnership working
✅ A chance to join a network of student changemakers across UWL.
📅 If selected, your event will take place between February and April 2027, with coaching and planning support provided from November 2026 to January 2027.
Student project leaders who participated last year described how it increased their confidence, sharpened their skillset, and enhanced their time as a student at UWL.
The programme is open to all current students, and we particularly encourage applications from students who identify as Black, Asian, or from a minority ethnic group, and / or have a declared disability.
Deadline: Sunday 18 October, 11.59pm
