MSc student Audrey shares her tips on how to travel to Croatia on a budget 👇
1️⃣ Look at off peak times. There are so many flights available, but cost comes at a real barrier to students. Booking in months like October or February (during reading week) can cut the cost almost in half! Tickets to Dubrovnik were under £65 return!
2️⃣ Ubers are accessible, but depending on the season can take up to half an hour for a ride. If possible rent a car early to make getting around easier if you’re staying outside the city centre.
3️⃣ Food was the biggest expense, so factor in the cost of eating and experiencing the local cuisine. Ask a local for advice - they are the most knowledgeable about where to eat on a budget in the city!
