✨ Protect your energy before burnout forces you to.

At this month’s Walk & Talk networking session, we explored how burnout often builds quietly over time — especially for women balancing businesses, clients, homes, families and multiple responsibilities.

One topic that resonated deeply was the impact certain clients can have on our energy.

Not every client relationship is sustainable.

Sometimes protecting your wellbeing means:
🌿 strengthening boundaries
🌿 adjusting expectations
🌿 reducing availability
🌿 or letting go of work that no longer feels aligned

Your energy matters.

“Artificial intelligence is the new electricity.” — Andrew Ng

For many women in business, burnout doesn't come from a lack of capability.

It comes from carrying too much.

The marketing.
The admin.
The content creation.
The planning.
The client work.

All while trying to be everything to everyone.

That's why AI is such a powerful tool.

Not because it replaces people.

But because it can help lighten the load.

Drafting content.
Brainstorming ideas.
Summarising information.
Creating first drafts.
Automating repetitive tasks.

Used well, AI can give you back something many business owners desperately need:

Time.

And perhaps more importantly... energy.

Technology should support us, not exhaust us.

So if you're feeling overwhelmed, don't ask yourself, "How can I work harder?"

Ask yourself, "What could I get help with?"

Sometimes the smartest thing you can do for your business — and your wellbeing — is stop trying to do it all alone.

Hello lovely ladies 💛

I have a small favour to ask.

As many of you know, I'm currently creating a supportive community and membership for women who want to build successful businesses without sacrificing their wellbeing. My vision is to create a space where women can connect, learn, grow and support one another through every stage of their business journey – from finding the right business idea to growing a sustainable business without burnout.

To help shape this community, I've put together a short survey and I would be so grateful if you could spare 5 minutes to complete it.

Your thoughts, experiences and insights will help me create something that genuinely supports women in business and provides the resources, events, workshops and connections that are needed most.

If you know other women who run a business, are thinking about starting one, or would benefit from a supportive business community, I'd be incredibly grateful if you could share the survey with them too.

Thank you so much for your support – it really does mean a lot and I can't wait to see what we create together.

🔥 How to Avoid Burnout with Sara Davies

Burnout doesn't happen because you're weak. It happens when you've been strong for too long without giving yourself the space to recharge.

In this video, Sara Davies shares her thoughts on recognising the signs of burnout, protecting your wellbeing, and creating a more sustainable approach to success.

💡 In this conversation you'll discover:
• The warning signs that burnout may be creeping in
• Why working harder isn't always the answer
• The importance of boundaries and recovery
• How to build success without sacrificing your health and happiness

As business owners, it's easy to put everyone and everything else first. But your business needs the best version of you — and that means taking care of yourself too.

☀️ Another beautiful day for our Walk & Talk on Saturday! ☀️

I have to say, we are usually very lucky with the weather, and this weekend was no exception. With the sunshine on our faces and fresh air all around us, we paired up and set off on our networking journey together.

There's something special about taking conversations out of the meeting room and into nature. It was such a lovely way to start the weekend – walking, connecting, sharing ideas, and supporting one another as business owners.

After our walk, we headed to Puerto Lounge for coffee and breakfast, making the most of the sunshine by sitting outside together.

This month's mastermind coaching theme was Work-Life Balance, and we began with a simple but powerful question:

"What does enough look like for you?"

The answers were fascinating. It was amazing to hear how many different versions of a working day existed within the group. One of the greatest benefits of running our own businesses is that we have the opportunity to create a life-first business – one that fits around our priorities, rather than fitting our lives around our work.

We explored:
✨ Setting healthy boundaries
✨ Working the hours that suit us best
✨ Choosing clients who align with our values
✨ Supporting our businesses alongside our health, wellbeing, and family commitments
✨ Creating a more sustainable way of working

It was a thoughtful, honest, and inspiring discussion. Everyone left with at least one new idea to try, along with this month's coaching card packed with prompts to continue the conversation and reflection at home.

I always find these sessions incredibly energising, and I hope everyone else did too!

☕ Sometimes burnout doesn’t look like stopping completely.

Sometimes it looks like:
• constantly feeling tired
• struggling to switch off
• feeling overwhelmed by simple tasks
• working longer but achieving less
• quietly carrying too much for too long

At our latest Walk & Talk event, we had an honest conversation about recognising the early warning signs of burnout before things become unmanageable.

One thing that really stood out was how important it is to focus on one thing at a time rather than trying to do everything at once.

Progress doesn’t always come from doing more. Sometimes it comes from simplifying.

“You must either modify your dreams or magnify your skills.” — Jim Rohn

As your business grows, there comes a point where working harder isn't the answer.

There are only so many hours in the day.

If your goals are getting bigger, your systems need to grow with them.

That's where automation comes in.

Not to replace the personal touch.
Not to remove the human connection.

But to take care of the repetitive tasks that consume your time and energy.

Appointment reminders.
Email sequences.
Client onboarding.
Invoices and follow-ups.

The more your business relies on manual processes, the harder it becomes to scale.

Automation creates capacity.

Capacity to serve your clients better.
Capacity to focus on growth.
Capacity to spend your time where it adds the most value.

You don't have to lower your ambitions.

Sometimes you just need better systems to support them.

As business owners, we're often focused on what still needs to be done.

Today's self-care challenge:

Instead of asking "What's next?"
Ask yourself, "What have I already achieved?"

A little perspective can go a long way.

Let me know what you have achieved this week?

🔥 Burnout isn't a sign that you're failing.

As female entrepreneurs, we're often told that success comes from working harder, pushing through, and doing it all. But when burnout hits, many of us turn the blame inward.

What if the problem isn't you?

In this video, we explore why burnout is so common among women in business and the external pressures, expectations, and responsibilities that can contribute to it.

💡 In this conversation we cover:
• Why burnout is so prevalent among female entrepreneurs
• The hidden pressures women often carry in business and life
• How unrealistic expectations can impact wellbeing
• What sustainable success can look like instead

Burnout isn't always the result of poor time management or lack of resilience. Often, it's the outcome of prolonged stress, competing demands, and trying to meet expectations that simply aren't sustainable.

If you've been feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or like you're constantly running on empty, this conversation offers a different perspective.
