Jazz Cahoots

Jazz Cahoots NEW MUSIC IN OLD OXFORD. Duo and trio concerts of new jazz in the ancient buildings of Oxford, UK.

Cahoots Collective is a unique group of jazz musicians based in Oxford. Although much of their professional work takes them out of town, the musicians have got together to put on a regular gig in their home city. The collective comprises around 15 musicians, with some of the finest players in the country. Their aim is to put on a gig where the musicians can relax, try out new pieces and collaborat

ions, and contribute to the local music scene. Cahoots at the Mad Hatter is on the 3rd Wednesday of the month during the academic term, then moves to the 3rd Tuesday of the month for the rest of the year. The university jazzsoc also puts great bands on at the Mad Hatter. Their gigs are every Tuesday during term times (minus a week or two). The Tuesday jazz nights are kept going throughout the year with assorted Cahoots members playing informally as the Mad Hatter Jazz Band. Cahoots Collective founding members:
