The University of St Mark & St John has recently developed an exciting portfolio of business and management awards at undergraduate level, which will commence in September 2014. This includes a general business and management degree which helps develop those skills such as enterprise, leadership and project management, which are seen as priorities to drive business growth and employability in the Devon and Cornwall regions.
In addition to the general award, learners have the opportunity to focus their business and management studies in one of the many St Mark & St John specialisms, such as leisure, sport, outdoor adventure, education and media, which will help support individuals’ employability opportunities in those sectors.
The qualifications comprise:

The University also continues to deliver two part-time postgraduate Leadership and Management awards, which will commence in October 2013:
MA in Leadership & Management with ILM Level 7 Award in Strategic Leadership – this will give practicing or potential senior managers the critical evaluative skills to develop their role further. The programme runs on a part-time basis in a flexible evening-class format for a period of 2 years and is suitable for anyone with a relevant degree or equivalent qualification and/or work experience to gain credit.

MA in Applied Professional Studies – this programme of study aims to give practicing middle to senior managers a higher degree qualification as achieved through an applied professional leadership and management employment setting. Entry to the programme is for learners who are working or have recently worked at a management level for at least 2 years and hold a level 7 management and leadership award (e.g. ILM/CMI). The programme runs on a part-time basis through supported distant learning over a 2 year period and is focused upon 3 modules:
- Accrediting and Building on Learning
- Research Methods
- Work Based Study
