Guild Key The Preston Guild Key is a unique, innovative project that sews Preston’s historical heritage into an intriguing puzzle based interactive treasure hunt.

Throughout 2012 people from Preston and across the globe will have the chance to become treasure hunters with The Guild Key – one of the Guild 2012 Made in Preston Projects. It is designed to engage all generations in a competition taking place online and in real life - taking you on a journey through Preston’s rich historical past. Created by Preston company RM Productions and designed involving

students from UCLan and Lancaster University, the Guild Key is set to reach an audience of over 75,000 when it is launched in March 2012. One of the highlight events of the Guild 2012 festival, the Guild Key offers players a variety of ways to play and discover Preston’s past, with the chance of one player winning a major prize – details of which will be announced next year.
