Whether you wish to observe or take an interest in local decision-making, your presence is very welcome.

This morning, local businesses, community organisations and Councillors met with representatives from Crimestoppers, NWN Steph Good from Neighbourhood Watch, and Devon & Cornwall Police to share crime prevention initiatives within the community.

Crimestoppers is a national charity which encourages anyone to report crime anonymously by phone and online, 24/7, 365 days a year. They also share advice on how to protect the people you care about from crime, helping communities feel safer and empowered to report crime.

Neighbourhood Watch is a grassroots charitable movement working to build communities and prevent crime. Local schemes are run by volunteers across England and Wales, supported by local Neighbourhood Watch Associations, and by Neighbourhood Watch Network which is the national umbrella organisation for the movement.

A Health for Homeless respiratory day will take place on Thursday, 25th June 2026, from 10am to 4pm at Cy Winder, Coastline Housing Day Centre, Pool.

Support available includes respiratory health checks, emergency dental appointments, hair services, refreshments and more. A ยฃ5 supermarket voucher will also be available for those attending.

Redruth businesses are invited to a free UKPAC sign-up event on Monday, 15th June at the Redruth Civic Centre from 5pm to 7pm.

UKPAC helps businesses report crime and anti-social behaviour quickly and securely, while improving communication and intelligence sharing between businesses and partners.

Businesses can currently sign up completely free for two years.

Redruth Town Councilโ€™s phone lines are now back up and running following todayโ€™s essential system updates.

Residents can once again contact the Council Offices via telephone as normal.
