The MSc Pharmaceutical Technology program at Bradford University is designed to provide you with the skills to allow you to excel in the pharmaceutical field and the opportunity to become a key member of a pharmaceutical development team. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical process technology, including hot-melt extrusion, nanomilling, spray-drying, freeze drying, online rheology, and green processing with particular emphasis on Process Analytical Technology (PAT) and Quality by Design (QbD), and computer modelling techniques. You will also gain in-depth knowledge of pre-formulation, such as the crystalline, amorphous states, polymorphism, powder flow, co-crystals . Furthermore, you will gain hands-on experience of characterisation techniques, such as X-ray diffractometry, scanning electron microscopy, NIR or NMR, and Raman spectroscopy and. The course will introduce you to recent advances in drug delivery and targeting systems.
