Hello and welcome to the page of Tiny Talk, Ruislip, Ickenham & Rickmansworth. I'm Louisa, your TinyTalk teacher and Mum to my very own ex-TinyTalkers Joshua aged 9 and Charlotte aged 5! In the Spring of 2013 when Josh was 8 months old, I took him to his first class with Donna, I'd never seen Josh behave in such a way, he was mesmerised by all the singing and signing. Then one day, we wer

e in a restaurant with a friend, Josh started signing milk as the bottle was on the table - we were both amazed! His signs grew so rapidly, by 12 months he knew over 20 signs and they still grow every day! He can tell us if he's hurt himself or feeling ill and points to where it hurts, the other day he had a bath and as I carried him out of the bathroom he leaned forward looked right into my eyes and signed teeth, reminding me I hadn't brushed his teeth! The class structure is amazing, absolutely the right balance for babies. The class is an hour long - half an hour is dedicated to signing and singing to popular nursery rhymes based on a theme each week e.g. Family or Mealtime and NEW for 2014 we are introducing a beautiful sensory element. Then we have half an hour for socialising which is your chance to have a nice drink and a biscuit/cake (or two!). You can chat with other adults, empathise about what a sleepless night you've had (!) and make friends while your baby plays and develops their social skills. Signing cards are given out each week to help you to remember what you have learnt and share with your family so you can practise at home. The TinyTalk Babies class is aimed at babies from birth to 2 years and The TinyTalk Toddlers class is aimed at toddlers from 20 months to 3 years....So why not come along to one of my classes for education and more than anything we have fun! It's an evening of 2022 planning! (And yes, I am old school using an actual paper diary still 👵🏼).

I'll be opening priority bookings for the January term to my existing families in 10 days, then from 1st December, I'll offer any spots to the waiting list.

So, if you want to join the waiting list, get in touch on 07879 604967 with your 2 favourite classes from the schedule below and hopefully I can get you in for the Spring Term!

Autumn Term 1 is over! 🍂🍁🌾

We ended the term with a spooky set of Halloween classes, we chased ghosties out of our kitchen 👻, flew on our broomsticks 🧙🏼‍♀️, did the hocus pocus 💫 and climbed up the water spout with incy wincy spider 🕷.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the Food Bank Collection, we actually filled up the chest in the Church! 😘😘

No classes next week, we are back for Autumn Term 2 w/c 1st November for another fun filled 7 weeks, finishing off with Christmas classes! 🎅🎄

I'm afraid to say all classes are full but if I get any last minute cancellations, I will of course let the waiting lists know and then post here!

Newbies waiting on their joining information - its coming this weekend, I promise! 😊
