A real family day out at the Gravesend & Rochester Agricultural Association Ploughing Match 2026, hosted this year on my brother Peter’s farm in Cliffe.

Great to spend the day with Peter, his wife Teresa and daughter Amy, along with my sister Hilary – with the dogs never too far away!

Hilary and Amy were also busy helping out, sporting T-shirts featuring a little piece of family history…

Sadly, a very dry summer has meant very little rain, very little grass and not enough grazing to keep them there.
