🎣 WELL, WHAT A SESSION! 🤯🔥

They say you shouldn’t use your Deeper as a fish finder… but when you see something like this, how can you ignore it?! 👀🐟

What an absolutely amazing bit of kit the Deeper Quest bait boat is! Finding the fish, locating the spots and putting the bait exactly where it needs to be. 💪🎯

The results speak for themselves:
🐟 32lb biggest of the session!
🐟 6 more carp around the 22lb mark!
And yes… I lost a BIG girl as well! 😭

You win some, you lose some, but what a session it turned out to be! The Quest certainly played its part. 🚤🔥

Who else would have been tempted to drop a rig on those fish? 💯

🍂 AUTUMN BAITING… DO YOU CHANGE YOUR APPROACH? 🎣

It’s got us thinking… do you actually change how much bait you put in?

More? Less? Or do you just carry on doing what’s worked all year?

Yes, as the water cools, carp’s metabolism slows down, but they can still feed incredibly hard when the conditions are right.

It’s more about being accurate rather than simply putting less bait in.

🎯 Find the fish
🎯 Find the right spot
🎯 Put the bait where it matters

Boilies can become a big part of your autumn approach too, with a little pellet and particle mixed in rather than creating a huge carpet of bait.

And this is where having the Deeper Quest or SPARK really comes into its own. Locating spots or area’s where the fish are actually holding, you can concentrate the bait rather than spreading over different areas.

Because let’s be honest…

You can always put more bait in. You can’t take it back out!

What about you? 👇

Do you reduce your baiting once autumn arrives, or do you carry on feeding confidently when you know the fish are there?

This is how the same spot looks when scanned with two different sonar technologies – CHIRP and DownScan. Now, both are available in your QUEST bait boat.

📡 CHIRP scans with a cone-shaped beam, perfect for portraying the arches of fish passing through it.
🔎 DownScan uses a thin, fan-shaped beam, revealing complex underwater objects with greater detail and precision.

Two different ways to explore what’s below. 👀 Found anything interesting with your DownScan Undervision? Leave it in the comments below!

🔥 YOU JUST NEVER KNOW! 🔥

After hearing that the local lake hadn’t been fishing particularly well over the last couple of weeks, I wasn’t expecting too much from the session.

But that’s fishing… you just never know! 🎣

I was booked into a peg I’d only fished once before, so rather than guessing where to put the rods, I got the Deeper Quest out and scanned the water in front of me.

There were actually a good few options, which made the decision even harder! 😂

I eventually opted for a far-margin spot where the Quest showed a lovely clear area that I felt could be holding a few carp.

It didn’t take long before the plan started to pay off…

🎯 22lb mirror
🎯 24lb pristine common

Two beautiful carp from a lake that hadn’t been fishing particularly well. Sometimes it pays to do your homework, find the spots and trust what the water is telling you!

Another great example of why I love having the Deeper Quest in the armoury. 🎣💪
