We had a small JBL Bluetooth speaker handed in. We have left this at the University Sports Centre reception where it can be collected.

See you all on Saturday 🥳

Thanks to a flurry of offers on Wednesday we now only need the role of Finish Token Support to be filled.

Can you be the person to complete our volunteer roster and give our RD a restful Friday knowing there’s no need for last minute panic?

It’s midweek and we still have quite a lot of spaces in our roster for the weekend ahead.

We still need:

Timekeeper x 1
Marshal x 2
Funnel manager
Finish tokens
Finish token support
Barcode scanner x 2

Without people stepping forward to volunteer our event will not be able to go ahead so if you haven’t ever volunteered this is the time to have a go. All of the roles are straightforward and we will provide support every step of the way.

Many thanks to the 284 who came along and joined us on a blustery but dry morning at campus.

We’ve had to do a bit of results manipulation as two tokens which went missing last week managed to reappear and be scanned alongside their replacements! If your result seems wildly out please drop us an email (but no funny business, we know roughly where the issues were so we’re not magically awarding you a PB 😉)

We also have an item of lost property. See pic. If this is yours please get in touch and we can arrange its repatriation at a future event.

We have almost filled the roster for this weekend’s event.

We just need two more marshals and a barcode scanner (this can be a fast finisher doubling up)

Volunteering is fun and straightforward, so if you’ve never volunteered at parkrun before this is the perfect opportunity to start!
