We’re delighted to announce that following audition, pianist Victor Lim has been chosen to undertake the RNCM’s International Artist Diploma. This prestigious one-year qualification is for artists on the cusp of international careers.

Commencing in September, Victor – who was recently appointed Head of Keyboard at Rossall School – will benefit from intensive tuition and specialist classes, and receive advanced musical training to the highest level in performance, honing his artistic, technical, presentation and communication skills.

Alumnus Victor Lim is raising funds for Olympias Music Foundation with a free concert taking place at Forsyth Music Shop tonight from 6.30pm!

Donations can be made at the concert or online and all monies raised will go to their Learn to Play programme, providing weekly music lessons for 85 children on free school meals, income support and refugees and asylum seekers in Manchester.

We're wishing RNCM IAD student Giulia Contaldo the very best of luck as she steps in for Eliso Virsaladze on Saturday evening for a performance of Schumann's Piano Concerto in A minor with the BBC Philharmonic and conductor Omer Meir Wellber.
