The application for 1st Year Law & Business Representative and 1st Year Law Representative are now open! This is a great way to learn practical skills, to make connections with people as well as to improve your CV!

Being a 1st Year Representative involves publicising our events to your 1st Year Law & Business/ Law Course mates, which includes Lecture Shout-outs. You will attend our events and assist the rest of the executive team with delivery and promotional matters. A point to note is that you must be studying the course you are to represent!

How to apply?
Please send your CV and write 200+ words on why you are suitable for the role to [email protected]. The deadline is 8 pm, 22nd October (Sunday).

This role involves organizing events which introduce the variety of careers that hone in on both Law and Business disciplines, organizing lunches and dinners with sponsors, organizing socials for members, communication with the SU and mentoring scheme.

**LAW AND BUSINESS SOCIETY ELECTIONS**

The nominations for the remaining positions on the executive team have now been opened and will close tomorrow (Thursday 16th March 2017) at 9AM. The positions open for nomination will be:

• Treasurer x 1
• Social and Mentoring Officer x 1 (Will work alongside the elected social and mentoring officer, Melvin Chua)
• Publicity Officer x 1

Don't leave it to the last minute and make sure to get your manifestos in if you would like to run for one of these positions. Once manifestos have been uploaded and the nominations are closed, the voting will begin.
