Robins & Day were in the process of developing a new showroom in West London when Covid hit and caused multiple delays. However they are nearly there and close to opening. The dealership has been built on 3 floors and all multi-brand showrooms and parking is within the building itself! SSL supplied illuminated panels as well as bespoke one off illuminated moulded logos for the main showroom entrances and a myriad amount of way finding throughout the building

The pub industry is slowly but surely waking from the Covid hibernation which means delayed projects have been greenlit for completion. The Bridge Inn in Dulverton boasts main signage with gold leaf finished letters, a suspended sign with a digitally printed panel, amenity boards and an A frame. Much of our involvement with Premier Inn and their partnered eateries are refurbishments but every now and then a new build comes along where signage for both brands are installed at the same time. As was the case with the Premier Inn/Bar + Block in Southwark, South London!

SSL's involvement in the brewery trade is legendary (it is after all the sector we began supplying to back in 1947) The Victoria Inn in Salcombe, Devon is a prime example of the signage we supply - gold leaf embossed fascia letters, hand painted suspended sign, amenity boards, vinyl graphics and menu cases (we even supplied the lantern!) We also put our traditional sign writing skills to use when necessary

The SSL moulding machine that has been part of our business for decades is used to produce signage solutions whereby we are able to replicate the same design quickly and efficiently whether as a one-off solution or as part of a wider roll-out. Clients who use us for this type of signage include Jaguar Land Rover (for the leapers) Boots (for the logo lozenge) and as can be seen here MG for their logo. We have even supplied samples of an ATM surround using this methodology!

There are occasions when SSL have to supply signage to Ireland which entails all sorts of logistical challenges, inclusive of general transportation, ferry crossings as well as ensuring that all site signage required is included and dispatched in one delivery. TC Autos in Omagh, Northern Ireland is a case in point where a wide range of signage types were delivered and installed without a hitch

Boots' ongoing roll-out of the new internal signage and way-finding scheme continues with the recent install at their Rochdale branch. The use of illuminated signage and strategically place graphics makes for a more interesting and aesthetically pleasing customer journey

Throwback Wednesday! We love being involved in design led, bespoke consultative based work - a prime example being 'The Diner' project we developed for Butlins. Designed from scratch - an illuminated totem along with built up letters, free standing menu cases and internal way finding. All to replicate eating in an American style diner bar....
