Truth. Integrity. Impact.
At Onward College of Professional Studies (OCPS), we believe that journalism is more than reporting events—it is about shaping society, promoting accountability, and driving national development.
This is why we celebrate the remarkable work of Manasseh Azure Awuni.
To many, he is one of Ghana's finest investigative journalists. To us, he is also a development journalist whose work extends beyond exposing wrongdoing. Through meticulous research, factual reporting, and unwavering commitment to the public interest, he has helped strengthen governance, inspire reforms, elevate professional standards, and redefine what practical journalism can achieve.
His craftsmanship reminds us that journalism is not merely a profession; it is a public service. Every investigation, every well-researched story, and every courageous publication contributes to building a more informed, transparent, and responsible society.
This vision aligns closely with the mission of Onward College of Professional Studies: to equip learners with practical knowledge, professional competence, ethical values, and leadership skills that transform lives and communities.
As we train the next generation of communicators, journalists, digital media professionals, and leaders, we emphasise that true excellence is measured not only by technical skills but also by integrity, credibility, courage, and service to society.
The future of journalism belongs to professionals who can inform, educate, inspire, and influence positive change. That is the kind of graduate OCPS is committed to producing.
To Manasseh Azure Awuni, we say thank you for demonstrating that professional excellence and national development can go hand in hand. Your work continues to inspire students, educators, and practitioners across Ghana and beyond.
At OCPS, we don't just prepare students for careers—we prepare them to make a difference.
