A highly successful educational activity was held on Friday, June 19, 2026, as part of the English-taught Master of Science (MSc) “Vascular Ultrasound” of the School of Medicine, University of Thessaly, offering participants advanced theoretical and practical training in the field of vascular ultrasound.
The morning session (09:00–13:00) took place at the Non-Invasive Angiology Unit of the University Hospital of Larissa and included hands-on training on real patients. Participants had the opportunity to practice modern vascular ultrasound examination techniques under the guidance of experienced instructors, gaining valuable clinical experience in real-world settings while fostering interaction and the exchange of scientific expertise between faculty members and trainees.
The afternoon session (14:00–17:00), hosted at the School of Health Sciences of the University of Thessaly, focused on practical training in ultrasound-guided interventional procedures using specialized educational mannequins. This activity provided a safe and effective learning environment for mastering techniques that are essential components of contemporary clinical practice, enhancing both the technical skills and confidence of the participants.
