We are Michael Vitorakis and George Monahogios.

Michael comes from Spili village in Rethymno and resides in Rethymno city. He
has studied as an Audio Visual engineer with a specialization in film-making, at the
University of Crete. He frequently travels all around the world and simultaneously creates
documentaries about the human rights. Since 2016 he has been involved in the tourist
industry creating the 'checkincreta' tourist agency and organ

izing on a daily basis
excursions and activities for thousands of visitors in Crete. George comes from the villages Aggeliana and Mesi in the prefecture of
Rethymno and resides in Rethymno city. He has studied as an Electronic engineer at
the University of London and he is a telecommunications technician on the island of
Crete. He loves venturing into nature, thus he cultivates his own olive groves with great
care and love. From these very olive groves we produce and standardize the extra virgin
olive oil OVI, in small quantities and in the best quality possible. Our core values and friendly nature united us in order to create cretflix, through which
we will engage with the following projects:
• The production and standardization of extra virgin olive oil.
• The promotion of high-quality small producers of Crete and selling their
products through our E-SHOP.
• Photography and film-making productions.
• Organization of activities based on gastronomy and cultural
tourism..cooking lessons and venture into the agricultural daily life. In this journey we would like to attract visitors of our island that are willing to explore the
authentic Crete, to get accustomed to our local philosophy of living and to feel the local
hospitality.. Within our page you can find activities and excursions based on gastronomy and cultural
tourism, you can explore our e-shop and purchase carefully selected quality products
made by small Cretan producers, you can find Cretan Cuisine recipes or, if you wish,.even watch videos on our YouTube channel to visually travel all around Crete.

space “SIMA-Cretan Flavours” within the Prasses village in Rethymno.”
