We would like to thank all our contributors —both in-person and remote speakers, panel chairs, and our virtual and in-person
audiences—for a most exciting conference.
A total of 20 papers have been presented, raising many stimulating ideas and generating lively responses.
Much of the conference’s success is due to the assistance of our former and current graduate and undergraduate students, under the charismatic supervision of Dr. Maria Leventi (AuTh) and Dr. Dimitra Karamitsou (Center for the Greek Language):
Efstratios Karydopoulos
Alexandros Papathanasiou
Sofia Theologou
Alexia Trigki
Evangelos Tsigaridas
Achilles Valetopoulos
Their help is even more appreciated when considering that some of them are simultaneously preparing for their written and oral exams.
Warmest thanks also go to our conference sponsors for eagerly embracing and funding our project: The Aristotle University Research Committee, University Studio Press, and De
Gruyter Brill—in particular, Dr. Carlo Vessella, the Aristotle University Research Dissemination Center (KEDEA) and its PR Office Director, Mr. Dimitrios Katsouras, deserve our thanks both for hosting the event and offering much-needed assistance throughout.
We would also like to thank warmly the Rector, Professor Kyriakos Anastasiadis, as well as the Vice Rectors of Aristotle University —Professor Ioannis Rekanos, Professor Nikolaos Maghioros, and Professor Iakovos Michailidis.
The next TiC conference, “Euripidean Stagecraft: New Perspectives,” is set to take place on 12-14 November 2026 and it is organized by the Department of Classics at Aristotle
University.
We hope to see you all at another Trends conference in Thessaloniki in the not-too-distant future.
