European Studies Master Program - ESIS The ESIS Master Program is the result of the cooperation between the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the University of Torino

🎓 Applications are now open for the second admission round of the Joint (Double Degree) Master’s Programme in “International Studies – Specialization in European Studies” for the academic year 2026–2027.

Offered jointly by the School of Political Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Department of Cultures, Politics and Society of the University of Turin, the programme provides students with a unique international learning experience and awards two postgraduate degrees upon successful completion.

✅ Taught entirely in English
✅ Double Degree (AUTh & UniTo)
✅ 120 ECTS | 2-year programme
✅ First year in Thessaloniki, second year in Turin

📅 Application period: 8–26 June 2026

The programme is open to graduates of higher education institutions, as well as final-year students who are expected to complete their degree before the start of the programme.

We were pleased to host the lecture “Party Politics in Spain: A Minority Government in a Polarized Context” on 10 March 2026 at the School of Political Sciences, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

The lecture was delivered by Irene Martín Cortés from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, who offered an insightful analysis of the evolution of the Spanish party system and the challenges of minority governance in a highly polarized political environment.

The event brought together postgraduate students, researchers, and members of the academic community, creating a stimulating discussion on contemporary developments in Spanish politics and broader trends in European party systems.

We warmly thank Prof. Martín Cortés for her engaging lecture and all participants for their valuable contributions to the discussion.
