Stepping onto HKU campus for the Exploring Marine Biodiversity Programme, Samikai dove headfirst into hands-on marine science research. But her biggest takeaway wasn't just the science—it was the deep sense of INSPIRATION that helped her map out her future path in biology.

🌟 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗼 — 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗞! 🌟

At the HKU Academy for the Talented, we’re building more than a programme — we’re building a 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. 🌏💚And Leo is proof of exactly that.

This summer, Leo jumped straight into the “Media and Innovation Lab: From Ideas to Impact” at our Summer Programmes 2026 — and he didn’t just learn, he lived it.

His biggest takeaway? Connection. 🤝

From building bonds with like-minded peers from around the world to discovering Hong Kong’s hidden gems on field trips, every moment became part of an unforgettable journey. 🌃🇭🇰

That’s what the 𝗛𝗞𝗨 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 is all about — talented students from every corner of the globe, connected for life. ✨

We’re delighted you made the most of your time with us, Leo. We’re already counting down the days until you return — HKU will always welcome you back! 🌟
