Congratulations to our talented students for their brilliant participation in the 2026 Interuniversity French Speech Competition hosted at CUHK! 🎤✨
Representing our programme as part of the Francophonie Festival, our students took the stage to tackle the theme of "Anticipation" with eloquence and creativity:
🌟 YUE Wai Ying Abbie & YIU Wing Hei Karolina (A2-B1) took us on a journey to the future, describing what everyday life might look like in 2050. 🌟 LAW Yan Kiu Sarah (B2-C1) delivered a thought-provoking speech on whether Artificial Intelligence poses a danger to human societies.
We are incredibly proud of the hard work, courage, and linguistic skills they showed on stage. Speaking in a foreign language about such complex topics is a considerable achievement! 🇫🇷👏
Bravo à toutes les trois ! 🥳

It was a pleasure to introduce our students to the opportunities available for academic pursuits in France! 🇫🇷
Today we welcomed Lucile Vast from the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau, who serves as the Academic and Scientific Officer working on international research partnerships and academic cooperation. Accompanying her was Jackson Chau, the Head of Campus France Hong Kong. We are especially proud to welcome him back, as Jackson is an alumnus of our very own European Studies programme! He successfully completed our double degree programme with Sciences Po Bordeaux . 🎓✨
Together, they represented the pathways available to our students and the strong link between the Consulate and their upcoming Y3 mobility. In fact, our Y2 students will depart this summer for a full exchange year at one of our 16 partner institutions across France and Canada! ✈️🌍 A huge thank you to our guests for an engaging and informative session! 🙌

🍷✨ Exciting times for our students! Under the guidance of our lecturer, Mr. Éric Sautedé, Lisa, Liliane and Lucas, three dedicated students have been diving deep into the presence of French w**e and spirits in Hong Kong. Their journey led them to meet several key figures in the industry.

The highlight? An exclusive invitation from Victor Petiot, the sommelier at the renowned 3 Michelin Star Caprice restaurant, located in the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong. They enjoyed an exquisite food and w**e pairing dinner, with culinary masterpieces crafted by the incredible Chef Guillaume Galliot. A truly unforgettable experience! 🥂🇫🇷

Nous avons eu le privilège de profiter d'une visite privée de deux expositions, d'un délicieux cocktail et d'un dîner exquis, animés en français et en anglais par nos talentueuses étudiantes Shannon, Alice, Ambre et Benaila !
