Supporting our studentsโ€™ career development is always a priority at RMBI. ๐Ÿš€

To kick off the 2026-27 academic year, we were delighted to visit Bloomberg Hong Kong, where our RMBI students received hands-on training in using Bloomberg Terminals and gained valuable insights into one of the worldโ€™s leading financial platforms.

We were also excited to hear from Bloombergโ€™s recruitment team about upcoming career opportunities. It was a great chance for our students to learn more about the industry, explore potential career paths, and better prepare for their future professional journeys.

It was an inspiring start to the academic year, and we look forward to more industry engagement opportunities in the months ahead.

โœจ RMBI Freshmen Spring Gathering โœจ

Last Saturday, our Year 1 students came together for a special team-building workshop that used art as a metaphor for life choices and habit formation. ๐ŸŽจ
It wasnโ€™t about artistic skill, it was about courage, resilience, and growth.

Through creativity and collaboration, students explored:
โ€ข Wellness & Self-Awareness: finding mindfulness and reducing anxiety
โ€ข Resilience: turning โ€œmistakesโ€ into opportunities
โ€ข Habit Formation: seeing how small patterns build big change

A day of connection, reflection, and new perspectives. Our freshmen didnโ€™t just paint canvases, they painted lessons to carry forward ๐ŸŒฑ

Why are we studying statistics? ๐Ÿ“ŠWhy is learning math useful in our field?

RMBIโ€™s career workshop yesterday offered clear and inspiring answers, and much more. Led by our distinguished alumnus Mr. Sky So ๐ŸŒŸ, Partner at EYโ€™s Financial Services Risk Management, the session was entirely student-driven and highly interactive ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ. From the very beginning, Sky welcomed questions and thoughtfully addressed each one ๐Ÿ’ฌโœ…. As a long-term mentor to RMBI students, he shared valuable insights on bridging the gap between academic study and professional application ๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿ’ผ. The talk focused on how math and statistics can be leveraged in consulting and banking ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ“ˆ. The discussion also touched on career planning and lifelong learning, inspiring students to see the real-world impact of their studies.

We were delighted to have partnered with CFA Society Hong Kong for a dynamic and impactful seminar that explored the intersection of STEM and finance.

RMBI students gained insights into the CFA Program, including candidate profiles, exam format, study tips, career impact, and real stories from CFA charterholders.

Weโ€™re grateful to our guest speakers for sharing their expertise and leading an engaging and informative session.

It was encouraging to see students stay on after the session, keen to continue learning and engage more deeply with the insights shared by CFA Society Hong Kong.

Kicking off the New Academic Year!

To help new RMBI students gear up for the academic year, the program hosted an orientation focused on building connections, sharing insights, and preparing students for the journey ahead. Through interactive sessions and meaningful conversations, students were introduced to the curriculum, program highlights, and the learning journey that awaits.

A special part of the day for the new students was the meeting with their Year 3 peer mentors, who offered guidance, shared their experiences, and helped foster meaningful connections. This tradition of mentorship helps create a welcoming atmosphere and lasting connections among RMBI students.

๐Ÿ™ We're truly grateful for the contributions of our peer mentors and the spirit of community they help cultivate.

๐Ÿ“š Wishing all our students a rewarding and inspiring academic year ahead!
