Voice discovery in Hong Kong

Voice discovery in Hong Kong A PolyU Student Initiated Project; Organized by GYLP/ Supported by Oxfam HK
To promote culture integration within campus & to introduce poverty in HK!

Voice Discovery in Hong Kong is a heartfelt program designed by students in Global Youth Leadership Program of Hong Kong Polytechnic University and in coordination with several other third parties to not only promote the awareness of poverty in Hong Kong but to act on it. The UGC funded program has integrated both local and non-local students of the like and emerged them with experts and a first-h

and experience of the situation that is present in our modern day society, one in which many of us are lucky enough not to have to handle on a daily basis. The areas of focus are on ‘Working Poor’ and ‘Homeless’, and is a continuation from our youth forum on poverty and social policy in Hong Kong and the Mainland. During the first-hand poverty experience, Voice Hunters collected the ‘unheard’ voices in the society, and amplify them in different forms of expression, i.e. Fotomo and Fotovoice, to provoke awareness. Here, you can join us discovering the ‘unheard’ voices in Hong Kong.
