✨ Workshop Highlights: Speak to Persuade: Presentation Skills ✨

On 22 August 2026, MScICSM students joined an engaging training workshop on how to deliver presentations with confidence, clarity, and impact.

From understanding the audience and addressing their concerns to managing nervousness and avoiding those “mind-going-blank” moments, participants explored practical ways to communicate more effectively. The session also covered how to interact naturally on stage and in virtual settings, make key ideas memorable, and use statistics and data to strengthen a message.

Here’s to speaking with confidence—and persuading with purpose! ✨

On 15 August 2026, we warmly welcomed our new cohort at the MScICSM Orientation Day! 🎉

The day began with a heartfelt welcome and an introduction to the program, followed by an overview of the administrative support available to help students throughout their journey. Everyone then enjoyed a delicious welcome lunch, providing a perfect opportunity to connect with fellow classmates and faculty. The afternoon wrapped up with an exciting introduction to the Experiential Learning Program, setting the tone for a year filled with hands-on learning and real-world impact. 🌍💡

We were honored to welcome our guest speakers, Gordon Chen and Kenson Cheung, Associate Directors from KPMG Advisory (Hong Kong) Limited, who shared valuable industry insights on “Technology Risk – Cybersecurity in the Real World.”

Through engaging discussions and real-life cases, students gained a deeper understanding of cybersecurity practices, risk management, and the evolving landscape of technology risk, along with practical perspectives on career development in the field.

A wonderful way to conclude the course—thank you to our speakers and students for making it such a meaningful and insightful session.
