Established in June 2015, The Cosmopolitan Society (CS) is a cosmopolitan student organisation based at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. It consists of 170+ students and young professionals who all adhere to the idea of genuine mutual learning across cultural circles despite encountering contrasting perspectives. By organising a variety of social and intellectual events it aims at gathering open-minded students who are curious and interested in learning from individuals who are different to themselves. It thus visions to - embrace diversity - to have fun - and to illuminate the discussion of how and in what way different perspectives, values and interests intersect not only at university but on the global scene as well.
