The Hong Kong Ballroom Dancers International was established on 14th February, 2011.

發揚良好的團體精神和運動員的體育精神, 以及維護和增進選手、表演者、教練、老師、裁判、計分員和推動舞蹈者等所有人在國際間的利益; 促進港標會中需要會員服務者與遍及全球的體育舞蹈團體管理層之間的友好人際關係和合作性。

World Cup Universal Open Dance Festival was successfully carried out on 18th - 21st August 2026. The turnout of Hong Kong competitors were far beyond imaginations. HKBDI office just received the trophies (1st to 6th place) posted from Shenzhen.
Any Hong Kong competitors who did not get your trophies on the day of competition please go to HKBDI office or contact President Lawrence Chan 97535068 to claim back your trophies (1st to 6th place)!

ISTD Online Medal Test Examination on 29th and 30th August 2026, (Session No.57055, Examiner Mr L. Yates) was organized by HKBDI and held at Approved International Examinations Dance Centre (AIEDC), Hong Kong . On Day 1 (29/8), 46 medal tests were taken and on Day 2 (30/8), 32 were taken.
Candidates were entered from Come Dancing Studio Academy (teachers Gertrude Ko, Candy Li, Pang Wai Yee), Shirley Huang Dance School (teachers Yip Yiu Yi, Zhang Han Jun, Chan Sze Man, Shiu Wing Yiu, Chui Nok Lam), Dancingbees (CK Tsang, Laura Lee), 藝林雅集(Ip Moon Kwan, Yeung Hiu Wai), Dancehype (Kristina Cheung).
