The Learning Analytics (LA) Lab of the University of Zagreb's Faculty of Organization and Informatics comprises an interdisciplinary group of researchers and practitioners dealing with learning analytics, academic analytics, and related areas such as learning design. The Lab is the central place for learning analytics research in Croatia, with its key researchers also acclaimed in the internationa

l learning analytics community. Faculty of Organization and Informatics, as one of the constituent units of the University of Zagreb, offers undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate study programs related to information sciences. [ONGOING] The LALab team is taking an active part in the LAK26 conference this week in Bergen, Norway!

We started the week with a pre-conference workshop on *Evaluating the Quality of Learning Design of Courses and Curricula*. The fourth InnovateDesign workshop, co-organized by researchers from FOI, The Open University, Monash University, and the University of Maryland, and led by Professor Blaženka Divjak, encouraged hands-on work on learning design in the BDP tool (learning-design.eu) and fostered great discussions on curriculum analytics and AI assistance in learning design.

The LAK week continues with a number of inspiring activities! 🤩

[SAILER PROJECT] The SAILeR kick-off meeting has started!

The project coordinator Prof Blaženka Divjak has presented the upcoming work on the 4 work packages, focused on:

Vision of Learning Design (WP1)
AI Assistant for Learning Design (WP2)
Learning Design and Course Delivery Ecosystem (WP3)
Study Program Learning Design (WP4)

[SAILER PROJECT] Our new Erasmus+ project *Streamlining AI in Learning Reimagination* has started, and this week we have our kick-off and coordination meeting! Looking forward to welcoming our partners from Goethe-Universität Frankfurt, Oulun yliopisto - University of Oulu, University of Groningen and the Open University of Catalonia at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics!

In the SAILeR project, led by Professor Blaženka Divjak, we will continue our research and development in learning design, learning analytics, and AI in education. To begin, we will explore new perspectives on learning design, starting from educators' visions of courses and study programs.
