Our faculty hosted the 2026 CICL international conference, titled “Local, Regional and Global Interests in Innovation, Communications and Intellectual Property Law.”

Over the course of the two-day event, researchers, lecturers, and legal professionals from numerous countries shared their insights on current challenges in innovation, communications law, and intellectual property law. This year’s conference placed special emphasis on the relationship between artificial intelligence and copyright, the legal implications of AI-generated content, EU regulatory reforms, the future of digital platforms and emerging technologies, and sustainability issues.

We would like to thank all speakers, participants, and supporters for contributing to the success of the conference. We are also grateful to the event’s sponsors for their generous support: the National Media and Infocommunications Authority and the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office.
