Gender, Culture & Society teaching and research at UL builds on a long tradition of Women’s Studies scholarship and research at UL. Gender, Culture & Society activities take place across disciplines, departments and faculties. Our teaching and research focuses on developing knowledge about women and gender relations as these intersect with class, ‘race’, sexuality, age, ethnicity and other categor

ies and processes of stratification and difference. All aspects of social, cultural, political and economic life can be researched from a Gender, Culture & Society perspective. Our page will be a place where we can promote events, share information, and post updates about events, conferences, forums, courses, professors, students .... well, all things GCS.
