Throughout the duration of this fashion design course, students will work on their own collections for the end of year fashion show. The finished design will not only demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of fashion design but also of tailoring and garment finishing to a high standard. Level 5 - In general, the Leaving Certificate (including LCA) is required. Students on applying for the course will be ask to attend an interview, to which they will be bring samples of creative work (drawings, photographs and designs). Level 6 – Leaving Certificate (including LCA), QQI level 5 and interview with fashion/art & design portfolio. Mature and postgraduate students welcome.
