🌟 Women & Girls in STEM Club – Week 5 Highlights! 🌟

Week 5 was extra special as our participants got the exciting opportunity to visit a different lab on campus — the Physics Labs!

We were delighted to be joined by Michelle Mccrystall from the Physics Department, who led a fascinating session on “How Climate and Oceans Work.” The workshop was hands‑on, interactive, and full of curiosity, with participants working in groups to explore experiments — some of which you can see captured in the photos below!

A huge thank you to Michelle and the fantastic demonstrators for such an inspiring and engaging session, and for showing our participants just how exciting physics can be. 🌊🔬✨

✨ Sphero Indi robot challenges

It was wonderful to welcome both new and returning members and to see everyone diving enthusiastically into each activity. Your energy set such a positive tone for the year ahead!

💛 A huge thank‑you to all who joined us and helped make this a fun, interactive evening.
💛 And an extra‑special shout‑out to our fantastic volunteer demonstrators for supporting each activity throughout the session.
