Our next Community of Practice event “Learning Design in the Digital Age” takes place at 1pm on Thursday February 8th.

Learning design is becoming increasingly important as the need to engage learners with impactful and rapidly applicable content becomes more evident. This session will introduce you to the principles of digital learning design and bring you through clear practical examples that you can apply to your own practice.

Our next TEL Community of Practice event “Micro-credentials: Design & Impact” takes place at 1pm on Wednesday, January 24th.

Micro-credentials are becoming increasingly popular in higher education backed by both European and national policy. They are short, focused, accessible and accredited courses designed to meet the demand of learners, enterprise and organisations. As they become increasingly integrated into university curricula, the importance of design becomes more evident. Neill Wylie from CTEL will discuss the following topics.

* What does the Irish landscape look like for micro-credentials?
* How can we leverage design to have the greatest impact?
* What design frameworks are best suited to micro-credential design?

There will be an opportunity for discussion, questions, and answers at the end of the presentation. Please register here:
