Warm congratulations to Dr. Anat Arzi, from the Department of Medical Neurobiology and the Department of Cognitive and Brain Sciences, on receiving the Kletzky Prize for the Advancement of Science!
Dr. Arzi’s research explores some of the most fascinating frontiers of brain science: sleep, disorders of consciousness following head injury, and cognition in the absence of awareness.
Her work combines basic and clinical neuroscience to uncover how the brain processes information in altered states of consciousness, from sleep to severe brain injury, and advances our understanding of the complex relationship between brain activity, awareness, and recovery.
This well-deserved recognition celebrates Dr. Arzi’s outstanding scientific contributions and the promise of her research to deepen our knowledge of the human mind and improve clinical approaches to consciousness disorders.
