Food is a language of hospitality a table filled with maqluba, musakhan, maftoul, hummus, falafel, stuffed grape leaves, fresh bread, olives, and so much more. There is always something to share, another plate to offer, and a place to make room for one more.
Palestinian food is deeply connected to the land, the seasons, and generations of family recipes passed down around the table. It is not simply about what we eat, but about gathering, generosity, and making people feel at home.
This World Food Day, we celebrate the flavours of Palestine and the beautiful tradition of sharing them with others.
Because in Palestine, food is never just food. It is a way of saying: welcome, sit with us, there is always room at the table. 🇵🇸

Through Tatreez, even a simple coffee ritual becomes part of a larger story: one of tradition, gathering, and memories passed from one generation to the next.

In Palestine, qahwa (قهوة) is more than a drink. Traditionally brewed strong and often flavoured with cardamom, Arabic coffee is closely woven into Palestinian hospitality offered to guests, shared with family, and enjoyed around conversations that can last for hours.
From the home to the coffeehouse, the ritual of pouring and sharing a cup carries a simple message: you are welcome here. Coffeehouses have long served as gathering places for conversation, storytelling, games, and community life.
This World Coffee Day, we celebrate not just the coffee, but the memories, traditions, and connections held in every little cup.
