National Summit on AI in Indian Education

The inaugural session of the National Summit on AI in Indian Education, organised by QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) I-GAUGE, was inaugurated by Prof. Jagdish Joshi, Vice-Chancellor, Gujarat University, along with distinguished speakers and education leaders.

The summit focused on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in Indian education, including AI-enabled educational tools, AI-based policy development and adoption, digital transformation, and the future of technology-driven education.

Key discussions included AI adoption in administration and governance, QS I-GAUGE Rating and evaluation, AI-focused student skills, curriculum transformation, and preparing students for the future of work.

The discussions also highlighted the role of AI and innovation in strengthening India’s education ecosystem and contributing towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. 🇮🇳🤖🎓

Gujarat University, Ahmedabad officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) Centre, Gandhinagar.
​Under this landmark agreement, the INFLIBNET Centre is officially recognized as a Research Centre of Gujarat University.

This collaboration aims to: Expand access to scholarly digital resources and cutting-edge research infrastructure.
​Foster high-impact collaborative research initiatives.
​Create enriched opportunities and mentorship for doctoral scholars and researchers.

​The ceremony was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Jagdish S. Joshi, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Gujarat University, and Prof. Devika Madalli, Hon’ble Director, INFLIBNET Centre, along with senior leadership and officials from both institutions.

Gujarat University proudly celebrated the 80th Independence Day in the gracious presence of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor (I/C) Prof. Jagdish Joshi, along with the Registrar, EC & Council Members, Board Members, Deans, Heads of Departments, esteemed teaching faculty, administrative staff, and enthusiastic students.
