From 1,000+ registrations to the final stage at IRMA, the Business on Values Case Competition 2026 concluded on a high note!

Hosted by the ESAF Chair for Business on Values at IRMA, "Tribhuvan" Sahkari University, the competition challenged postgraduate students from across India to rethink trust, values and responsible business through the lens of SDG 16 - Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.

On 27 September 2026, the competition moved from screens to campus as six finalist teams took the stage at IRMA, putting their thinking, judgement and solutions to the test before Prof. Sushanta Sarma, Prof. Rahul Ashok Kamble, Ms. Sandhya Suresh and Mr. Chetan Jha.

“Tribhuvan” Sahkari University (TSU), through its Management Development Programme (MDP), recently concluded a Training of Trainers for the Resource Persons of PACS Secretaries, aimed at strengthening the training ecosystem for Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) across regions.

The programme was designed to equip resource persons with the knowledge, skills, and pedagogical capabilities required to further disseminate a specialised training module, standardised by “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University, to PACS secretaries. With participation from trainers representing Gujarat and Maharashtra, the programme focused on building a cadre of trained resource persons who can facilitate effective knowledge transfer and strengthen the institutional capacities of PACS.

Coordinated by Prof. Pratik Modi, the programme featured expert sessions facilitated by Prof. Aashish Argade, Prof. Abhinav Srivastava, Prof. Kushal Anjaria, Prof. Prem Vaswani and Prof. Ruchi Mishra, bringing together academic expertise and practical insights to enrich the learning experience.

By developing a network of trained resource persons capable of cascading structured and standardised training to PACS secretaries, the initiative contributes to strengthening the cooperative ecosystem and advancing the Government of India's vision of “Sahkar Se Samriddhi” through capacity building, knowledge dissemination and institutional development.

“Tribhuvan” Sahkari University (TSU), in collaboration with the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, convened the National-Level Agenda-Setting Consultation on the National Cooperative Training Framework (NCTF) 2026 in New Delhi. Hon’ble Minister of State for Cooperation, Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar, graced the consultation and interacted with the participants.

A delegation led by Prof. (Dr.) S. P. Singh, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, "Tribhuvan" Sahkari University, along with Prof. Shyam Singh; Prof. Satyendra C Pandey; and Prof. Rajesh Jain, contributed to the national-level deliberations on strengthening India’s cooperative training and skilling ecosystem.

The consultation brought together senior officials of the Ministry of Cooperation, Registrars of Cooperative Societies, MDs of cooperative federations, Heads of the training institutions, and Directors and leadership of sectoral organisations to deliberate on curriculum and competency standards, trainer development, institutional delivery, digital learning, quality assurance and outcome monitoring.

The consultation marks the first stage of a structured process towards the National Cooperative Training Framework, advancing the vision of “Sahkar se Samriddhi” through stronger institutions, skilled human resources, and a future-ready cooperative ecosystem.

Career Opportunity at IRMA | Academic Associate - Social Sciences

The Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), under “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University, invites applications for the position of Academic Associate in the Social Sciences Area on an 11-month contractual basis.

The role offers an opportunity to work closely with faculty and contribute to academic processes including course material development, class and examination support, evaluation, quizzes, MOOCs, and other academic responsibilities. It is also designed to provide valuable exposure and learning that can support candidates in pursuing higher studies or future academic and professional opportunities.

Eligibility: Post-graduation in Social Sciences, Economics, Development Studies or related disciplines, with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. Candidates with relevant academic or industry experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in IT and other tools will be preferred.

Remuneration: ₹40,000 per month
Duration: 11 months (renewable, subject to suitability)
Age: Preferably below 35 years

A delegation led by Prof. (Dr.) S. P. Singh, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University, comprising Prof. Madhavi Mehta, Prof. Shyam Singh, and Prof. Satyendra C Pandey, visited Banas Dairy, Palanpur, for an interaction with the leadership of the dairy cooperative.

The delegation engaged in a meaningful discussion on the possibilities of academic affiliation and institutional collaboration, with a focus on strengthening the linkages between academic learning and the practical realities of India’s cooperative sector.

The proposed collaboration seeks to create avenues for knowledge exchange, experiential learning, skill development, and capacity building, enabling students and professionals to gain deeper insights into the functioning and evolving needs of cooperatives.

Prof. (Dr.) S. P. Singh, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University, inaugurated the Inter-College Youth Festival 2026 at Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Niranjanbhai Patel, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Sardar Patel University.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. (Dr.) S. P. Singh emphasised the significance of such platforms in encouraging young minds to express themselves, showcase their talents and engage with art, culture and creativity beyond the classroom.
