Today marks a moment that changed history forever. On this day in 1699, Guru Gobind Singh Ji created the Khalsa, an identity rooted in courage, equality, discipline, and unwavering faith in Akaal Purakh, Waheguru.
Khalsa Sajna Divas is not just a celebration, it’s a reminder of who we are meant to be. To stand against injustice, to protect the weak, and to live with honesty and humility. The Khalsa was formed to break all barriers including no caste, no status, no discrimination, and connect through unity and devotion.
The Panj Pyare (the Five Beloved Ones) showed us what true surrender and faith look like. They offered everything without hesitation, teaching us that real strength comes from complete trust in Guru Sahib.
Today, we should reflect if we are living up to those values.
The Khalsa is not just a mark in history but it is a living spirit within us. A commitment to walk the path of righteousness, no matter how difficult it may be.
Let’s take the first step on this path and take the Khande di Pahul to become the Sikh of the Guru.
